MakersMuse

Brand Positioning, Messaging + Website Reset

MakersMuse was founded by Alexandra Wight, Ph.D., an educator, researcher, and parent who created a middle school planner to help students build the planning, organization, and follow-through skills they are increasingly expected to manage on their own.

Alexandra knew she needed more than a new website. She needed a complete Brand & Website Reset that would help her explain what made the planner different and communicate its value to both schools and families.

I refined the brand positioning and messaging, clarifying the larger purpose of MakersMuse and positioning the planner as a practical, research-informed learning tool, not simply a place to record assignments. I captured that strategy in a Brand Strategy Snapshot that Alexandra could use across her website, sales conversations, and presentations.

From there, I translated that strategy into a complete overhaul of the existing website. I reworked the site structure and copy, created clear paths for schools and individual shoppers, and made the value of the planner easier to understand for each audience.

I also redesigned the site, strengthening the visual presentation, improving the flow of information, and creating a warmer, more polished experience that better reflects the quality and depth of the brand.

The result is more than an updated website. MakersMuse now has a clearer message, a stronger way to communicate its value, and a strategic foundation that can support the business as it grows beyond its flagship planner into a broader collection of practical, research-informed tools for students.
